The Construction Manager provides the assistance to the planning, coordination, and direction for construction management activities on projects to ensure they are on time, budget, schedule, and meet project performance and contractual requirements. Maintains project documentation to insure accuracy of project data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project related entities. Assists in monitoring and reporting compliance with contractual requirements of contractor, architect,engineer and other team members as applicable. Maintains complex project logs and tracking of relevant data and information for use by project staff and necessary entities. Participates in meeting preparation, support and follow up documentation. Participates in project closeout to ensure all requirements are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible as onsite liaison with contractor and oversight of progress of construction
• Coordinate, direct, and monitor activities of contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities
• Manage project controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures or as required by the client
• Conduct project meetings and provide meeting minutes, documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information
• Ensure contractors, architects, and engineers will adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment
• Provide management of project logistics, organization and safety
• Perform other duties as required to ensure project success

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture is required (Extensive relevant construction management experience in place of education may be considered)
•  8 to 10 years full time experience in engineering or construction management.
•  Ability to manage the project schedule and update process while collaborating with internal and external clients
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communication, presentation, writing, and computer skills are essential
• Superior organization and planning skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with Microsoft Project
• Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) preferred.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$100,000.00 .
