Job Description

The Senior Project Manager provides the overall planning, coordination, and direction for project management activities to ensure they meet owner needs, specifications, cost, and schedule. May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant project/construction managers, project/construction managers and other assigned staff.

 

The Senior Project Manager will work on site with leadership and project managers to develop a Finance Plan with cashflows that take into account current actual expenditures and future expenditures at the program level. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop Program level schedules and budgets

  • Programmatic dashboarding of detailed cashflow analysis utilizing comprehensive project metrics

  • Prepare comprehensive status reports and updates to keep the client fully informed.

    Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables
  • Programming work previously completed in terms of budget and schedule
  • Creating Phasing Plans considering both onsite and offsite improvements
  • Creating a Finance Plan, including a cash flow analysis, to account for capital costs.
    • This Plan will also serve as the basis for apportioning ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation costs
  • Create and maintain project timelines/schedules; develop priorities; utilize project visualization tools
  • Provide estimating services for all phases of construction; Create annualized budget projections
  • Perform Business Case Analyses
  • Recommend and monitor project contingencies
  • Recommend delivery methods for each phase of work, considering methodologies that are most efficient and effective for delivering site development and infrastructure in a public contracting environment
  • Assist in developing necessary RFQ’s, RFP’s and contracts for any additional consulting services that may be needed
  • Serve as Master Consultant as appropriate or advise Client in the management of such contracts
  • Prepare regular comprehensive status reports and updates to keep Client fully informed throughout the Project
  • Manage requisite sub-consultant, or consultants previously retained by Client
  • Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management,
  • 10 plus years of experience in Program/Project/Construction Management

  • Understands Program level reporting (cost and schedule)

  • Healthcare experience, Knowledge of Power BI reporting, PM Web - Management Information System is preferred

  • Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred
  • CMAA - Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is preferred
  • DBIA - Design Build Associate, or Professional certification is preferred
