    Job Description

    Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is looking for a Recruiter (Part-Time) to join our growing team.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provides sourcing and search activities utilizing resume databases, in-house talent management systems, online resources, associations, internal and external referrals, and competition recruitment
    • Responsible for the pre-screening and interviewing of potential candidates for viability and fit on existing and upcoming positions and roles. Maintains on-going improvement to increase their skills in interviewing with an emphasis in open-ended/behavior based interviews and following Vanir’s Talent Acquisition screening processes.
    • Engage with potential sources and candidates for existing and upcoming positions. Responsible for maintaining a large resource of potential “pooled” sources and candidates for recruitment and referrals.
    • Captures, tracks, and administers pertinent candidate information, including applications, references, candidate data and metrics, as well as EEO/AA/ OFCCP and related compliance activities.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business administration or related discipline or equivalent area of study.  4+ years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources or related position.
      • Or, non-degree holders must possess a High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience in a talent acquisition, human resources or related area.
    • Must possess knowledge and application of providing talent acquisition activities to support corporate and/or technical construction recruitment procedures, applications, and practices.
    • Thorough knowledge of applicable laws and regulations with an emphasis in EOE/AA and OFCCP and their requirements within HR and Talent Acquisition.
    • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products an experience working in applicant tracking systems. iCIMS experience preferred.
    • Excellent presentation skills in person and with small and large groups.
    • Ability to represent Vanir and related entities in a professional manner at all times to ensure company policies and procedures as well as compliance to all applicable laws and regulations.
