    Job Description

    Vanir has a unique opportunity for a talented individual to assist in the continued growth of our organization. The Integration Project Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues and our client to deliver data center projects with responsibilities starting in pre-design and continuing through construction commissioning and stakeholder move-in. At Vanir we promote a culture that fosters growth, communication and teamwork. This position is a long term full time opportunity based in Cheyenne, WY.  Relocation discussion anticipated.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Act as the full time Client Integration representative to be on site when needed
    • Assist in the oversight/management of the design of data centers and/or large complex construction projects including constructability
    • Provide input in scheduling to improve upon milestones and to ensure the project is tracking well
    • Attend scheduled meetings to provide technical oversight for data center design buildout/fit-out regarding integration of systems
    • Participate in the Change Management process during construction
    • Provide input regarding proposed project phasing changes or delays which may affect the proposed design and offer potential design solutions/phasing alternatives to mitigate the same
    • Participate in the construction phase with ‘all of the above’ design phase components and builders/installers
    • Report weekly progress of Construction and Integration related activities
    • Perform and record regular site installation quality reviews and coordinate handover walk-downs leading to Early Access and Beneficial Use milestones
    • Coordination of the facility partial, or complete, Lockdown process

    Minimum Qualifications  

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or IT discipline is strongly preferred
    • 10+ years of Project Management Experience in large complex construction projects/programs including data centers is strongly preferred
    • Experience with data center construction, operations, design, and/or planning is highly desired
    • Working understanding of Telecoms and/or Technology Experience such as Telephony, security, and networking and other related low voltage systems is required
    • Strong collaborative communication skills (verbal, written [technical], and typed) are required
    • Strong computer user skills, especially within the MS Suite of tools is required
    • Experience in developing procurement strategies and the understanding of design, procurement and construction contracts is required
