    Job Description

    Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join the team in Houston, Texas. This position will support a large K12 bond project.


    The Project Controls Manager will oversee and maintain the project management software system and interface with owner's accounting and procurement team. This candidate will develop program and project-wide reports for the owner and project team members.


    Miniumum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred
    • Ideal candidates will possess 3+ years of experience providing project / program controls and construction management services on large education projects / programs
    • Knowledge and experience with Scheduling (CPM), project controls management, claims, and document control
    • Experience with Suretrack, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other construction document and project management systems is preferred
    • Must have knowledge and experience with construction management procedures, means, and methods
    • Good communication, writing and computer skills are essential
