Job Description

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler to join the team in Sacramento, CA.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various programs
  • Monitor and actively participate on project and program issues and Earned Value analysis
  • Perform needed QA/QC on program schedules to conform with program goals and various construction projects
  • Perform status updates on Program Schedule/Master Schedule
  • Proactively anticipate schedule impacts and advise project team concerning changes and issues on schedule impacts
  • Consult with project team and recommend solutions to improve products and services
  • Perform Program Level analysis and reporting
  • Create and manage conceptual program and project schedules as needed
  • Perform detailed CPM project schedule reviews and reports
  • Perform detailed Time Impact Analysis and reports
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as directed by management
  • Communicate and coordinate between individuals on various projects to manage the program and project schedules


Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years full time paid professional experience in Project Scheduling, preferably in public works projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
  • Proficiency in Primavera Project Management (P6) and MS Project
  • Advanced skill level in Excel and MS Office Suite 
  • Experience in using SQL to retrieve data from various data sets is preferred
  • Possess a working knowledge of architectural and engineering workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organization and planning skills
