Job Description

Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator based in our Fresno Office for the central California region. This person will work directly with the Area Manager and Project Executives to increase the company’s business opportunities by promoting its name recognition within specific markets. The task will also include the ability to assist the Area Manager and Project Coordinator with producing proposals, developing qualifications, presentation materials, and other marketing collateral assignments.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops a draft of the marketing advertising and conference budge
  • Identifies trade shows, conventions, conferences, and exhibits in which the company will participate (in accordance with the current marketing budget)
  • Determines, coordinates, arranges and attends (as necessary) convention/exhibit activities, including speaking engagements, hospitality suites, sponsorships of special events, and displays
  • Ensures that participation in specific organizations (CASH, CSAC, ACCA, CCLC, CEAC, CSBA, etc.) occurs on a frequent, effective, and consistent basis
  • Develops advertising strategy/budget that supports and furthers our marketing efforts. Contracts for advertising space and creates advertisement theme and/or concepts, working with Graphics Designer to ensure on-time development and placement of
  • Identifies new business prospects, making initial client contacts and qualifying prospective clients
  • Maintains database of existing clients and prospective clients
  • Involvement with different AEC associations and organizations
  • Assists with various special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Journalism, English, Communications, Business, Marketing, etc. + five years general office experience, one of which is business development or marketing-related or A.A. degree + ten years general office experience, five of which are business development or Marketing related, plus six years supporting executive personnel or H.S. Diploma + fifteen years general office experience, five of which are business development or marketing related, plus three years supporting executive personnel
  • Knowledge of the proposal lifecyle process is essential
  • Advanced knowledge of formatting, proofreading and editing copy is emperative
  • Intermediate skills in using Adobe Creative Suite (inDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and MS Office Suite is required
  • Profiency in Cossential or similar CRM software is required
  • Experince with federal forms, such as SF330
