Job Description


The position will work collaboratively with internal and external clients to deliver intelligent solutions to ensure quality project delivery in the Educational segment of our organization. Interfacing with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Contractors to monitor and update schedule and cost resources. Performing highly complex construction scheduling activities and will provide technical direction to the scheduling staff engaged in planning, scheduling, monitoring, progress analysis and reporting. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various programs
  • Monitor and actively participate on project and program issues and Earned Value analysis
  • Perform needed QA/QC on program schedules to conform with program goals and various construction projects
  • Perform status updates on Program Schedule/Master Schedule
  • Proactively anticipate schedule impacts and advise Project Team concerning changes and issues on schedule impacts
  • Perform Time and Risk analysis on Program projects.
  • Collaborate with the project teams to identify constraints and mitigation strategies to achieve contract requirements.
  • Consult with project team and recommend solutions to improve products and services
  • Perform Program Level analysis and reporting
  • Create and manage conceptual program and project schedules as needed
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as directed by management
  • Communicate and coordinate between individual and departments to manage the program schedule and update process

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline highly desired, but not required with comparable experience
  • 8 years of full time paid professional Scheduling experience is required
  • 5 to 10 years of experience on Primavera P6 is required
  • Experience in using SQL to retrieve data from various data sets is required
  • Thorough knowledge of the Construction Management trade is required
  • Knowledge of time impact analysis is required
  • Possess a working knowledge of architectural and engineering workloads required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  with strong organizational skills required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite is preferred
